It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Our five year-olds are hard at work for their performance on December 18th where they’re going to perform a version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. We’ve also put up a playlist from Super Simple Songs, one of our favorite groups around! Finally, we also have the song that the First Cycle of Primary will perform.

As you may already know, we are having an Open House on Tuesday 4 February at 17:30 (5:30 PM) at our school. We have been working hard in our Infantil and bilingual Primary School groups (1st and 2nd grades in the USA, 1st and 2nd years in the UK) on decorations in English for our beautiful holidays. The English Department at Colegio Fundación Santamarca in Madrid, Spain welcomes you to our English blog! This will be our showcase for all of our English-language programs from Infantil up until Secondary (ESO). We will have a combination of posts from students and teachers, written and visual.
My name is Katherine “Kate” Estabrook, the current Auxiliar de Conversación (Language Assistant) here at Fundación Santamarca. I hope to make a more formal introduction in a later post, but I am originally from New York City (the best and most important place in the USA) and I have jumped at the chance at helping to make the English blog a reality.
